Freeflow with Mihaela is a movement practice based on your abilities. You can practice anywhere and anytime, no equipment needed. All you need is to have fun and to go with the flow.

As a dancer, I’m very aware of the importance of a consistent movement practice. It will help you take care of your body and awaken your inner power. I decided to open up my daily practice and share it with you because it’s more fun when you have company. And it’s easier to keep yourself accountable when you share your intentions with a friend.

I have been practising my daily #freeflow regularly from the beginning of the quarantine and I wonder what was I doing during these 20 minutes before. Probably scrolling through Facebook or Instagram in a zombie mode 🧟‍♀️.

There are many positive outcomes from having a daily practice but probably the biggest is that it creates space in your body and mind simultaneously. There are 20 minutes during your day that you dedicate solely to yourself, without distractions and excuses. Once you commit to having a daily movement practice you will only get better at it.
Don’t judge, don’t push, only flow and connect to your inner wisdom. Over time, you’ll reap the benefits from it.

What is Freeflow?
Freeflow
means that you flow / move / workout for 20min in a manner you like as long as you keep yourself active. It can be Yoga, Pilates, Ballet, Dance, Martial Arts, Mobility training or a mixture of everything. Just keep it short and sweet.

Yes, sometimes it’s tough but I promise it gets easier and fun. The more you feel in control of your body the more you start feeling in control of your life. Don’t forget to be patient with yourself and your abilities. It’s not about an end result but about turning towards you, listening to your body, reconnecting with yourself.

How to join the movement:
1. Video your freeflow.
(I use my phone’s time-lapse for it, check my Instagram story).
2. Tag me @mihaelagriveva in your post on Instagram/Facebook or in your Story.
4. Use #FreeFlowWithMihaela hashtag, so I can follow your progress.

*Extra tip: Do your freeflow workout first thing in the morning. That way you will start your day with a sense of accomplishment. What better way to start your day. The feeling will soon spread to other spheres of your life too.

*It is allowed to have a cheat day as long as you get at least 5min #workout in.
